RANCH ORGANIC COTTON PREORDER UPDATE

YEE HAW! Ranch Fabric Swatches Have Arrived.

Our first batch of Ranch strike-offs has officially arrived!

These are the first fabric print samples from the preorder collection, and this is one of the most important moments in the process. Your feedback truly helps shape what moves forward into production.

Refresher: What’s a Strike-Off?

Strike-offs are print tests on fabric that allow us to review scale, color, and overall aesthetic before full production begins.

This is where we fine-tune the details — and where your input makes a real difference.

We Need Your Help 🖤

If you participated in this preorder, we’d love for you to weigh in.

Simply drop a comment on this post with any thoughts, callouts, or questions.

Scale & Color Review

To help you visualize scale, we’ve photographed each strike-off next to a 18-24 month dress.

If you ordered during this preorder, please share feedback on any prints you have opinions about. Every comment will be considered as we determine next steps.

In this first group, we do have some scale options on a couple below to weigh in on.

A Few Notes While Viewing:

  • Photos were taken in our office under artificial lighting and are not color corrected.
  • These print designs and colorways were selected through community voting during the preorder process.
  • Some colors may read slightly off due to lighting and phone photography, but the underlying print files remain consistent with our approved artwork.
  • If you’re unsure about a color — ask! We’re happy to clarify.

What Happens Next?

After we gather feedback, each strike-off will be:

  • APPROVED — cleared to move forward into production
  • REJECTED — adjustments requested and a new strike-off submitted

This is exactly where customer feedback helps us get things right.

If, during review, we feel it would be helpful to see a full physical sample, we’ll share updates here on the blog.

Behind the Scenes: Production Updates

·       We’ve also completed final trim checks with our preorder team based on units sold vs. ordered.

·       A few style standard updates have been communicated to the factory

·       Prototypes have been requested where needed

Collection Reminder

  • Solids: Wide Rib and Gauze
  • Prints: Jersey, Interlock and Gauze

Important Timing

We’ll be collecting comments through Thursday, 3.19.26 at 10:00 AM PST to give everyone time to weigh in.

After that, we’ll finalize approvals and move into the next stage of production.

Thank you for helping us make this collection the best it can be. Your feedback truly matters — and we can’t wait to see photos of your little ones in these looks!

The lavender horses and mauve retro floral need to be looked at again for color accuracy and matching. The coloring on cactus floral also looks off as well.

I would also like to point out that the blue dahlia print NEEDS to be the large scale option only. So many people are hoping for the larger scale option and ordered specifically for that option, (including myself).

    DAHLIAS must be LARGE!!

Lavender wildflowers needs to be more purple. It looks too dull, almost grey? It would be so pretty if just a smidge more vivid & with super sharp outlines. Sharp outlines is the number 1 different maker with that print.

Ginger horses are too dark. Please soften. Lavender horses could be softened slightly as well.

Cactus floral is very far off. So much so that I can’t list all the color corrections that need to be done. Just needs lots of attention.

Blue dahlias must must must be large scale. The small scale looked so much less pretty in person. I only bought it thinking we were getting the OG.

Would it be weird to have the two dahlia colors in different scales? I prefer LARGE for the BLUE DAHLIA but SMALL for the BURLWOOD DAHLIA.
