Our friends over at Manzanita Kids have been nice enough to let us feature some of their awesome little wood rattles in with our photography. Manzanita Kids is a great brand that design and make heirloom toys in Seattle, WA. They are a family business born out of the desire to offer natural, safe and challenging toys. The hardwood used in their products is FSC certified and all of their toys are CSPIA compliant.
We wanted to update on some new products coming out on their site before the end of the month.
LETTER AND NUMBER STENCILS
These letter and number stencils are a must have for any little one and can carry them through early childhood development and learning to special school projects in the future (think science fair boards).
The stencils are made from Birch Plywood sanded smooth and left natural. The Alphabet Letters Set comes with 9 stencil sheets and a legend. The Number Stencils come with three stencil sheets and a legend.

What we love about this brand is that they believe the best toys can be simple, durable, tactile and spark the imagination. Through good design, quality materials and fine craftsmanship they aim to make toys to last generations.
They have AN ECO-FRIENDLY PHILOSOPHY
Manzanita carefully selects the best American hardwoods for their toys and they buy from a local source. The wood is enhanced and protected by their own blend of beeswax and organic jojoba oil applied by hand.
The birch plywood we use for the stencils and modular toys is of the highest quality, has no added formaldehyde and it exceeds the strict requirements set by the European Union and the California Environmental Protection Agency (CLARB II). Our toys are safe, durable, beautiful and meant to be passed to the next generation.
