With Love From Africa Project
This line is handmade by a group of women in Nakuru village in Kenya where the mission is to provide jobs and job training for women while partnering with the Patrick Chege Memorial Orphanage. An area with unemployment rates as high as 40%, many of the women have been widowed by the aids epidemic, thus becoming the sole source of income for their families. This project pays the women above average wage and provides them with free meals.
Each item is unique and holds a story behind it.
We will be donating 10% of our total revenue on Giving Tuesday (November 28th) between the hours of 10 a.m. PST and 11:59 p.m. PST to the Patrick Chege Memorial Orphanage. If you would like to donate directly or learn more about the foundation please visit one of the links below.
