Refresher: What’s a Strike-Off?
Strike-offs are print tests on fabric that allow us to review scale, color, and overall aesthetic before full production begins.
This is where we fine-tune the details — and where your input makes a real difference.

Scale & Color Review
To help you visualize scale, we’ve photographed each strike-off next to a 18-24 month dress.
If you ordered during this preorder, please share feedback on any prints you have opinions about. Every comment will be considered as we determine next steps.
A Few Notes While Viewing:
- Photos were taken in our office under artificial lighting and are not color corrected.
- These print designs and colorways were selected through community voting during the preorder process.
- Some colors may read slightly off due to lighting and phone photography, but the underlying print files remain consistent with our approved artwork.
- Some prints will look different on different fabric qualities, so may not be identical to past productions.
- If you’re unsure about a color — ask! We’re happy to clarify.
What Happens Next?
After we gather feedback, each strike-off will be:
- APPROVED — cleared to move forward into production
- REJECTED — adjustments requested and a new strike-off submitted
This is exactly where customer feedback helps us get things right.
Important Timing
We’ll be collecting comments through Friday, 6.18.26 at 2:00 PM PST to give everyone time to weigh in.
After that, we’ll finalize approvals and move into the next stage of production.
One More Thing!
It's come to our attention that some people may not want the bamboo shorts with the interlock top. The best way for us to solve this is to do a poll over on VIP. Please check there for poll if you purchased this exact style and color combo.

Bees background needs to be more rosy
Ice cream needs to match sample better
Veggies need to match sample better
Darker squirrels
I like the darker squirrels on bikes. But I don’t like the veggies the background is too far off for me. Hopefully the new strike off will be better.
And middle piggies are where they are at! And the scale of the piggies looks good.
The multi sunflower needs to be more muted. The background of the OG is a cream not white like shown in the sample.
I may be in the minority, but I like the gingham size.
Regarding the ditsy bouquet set, the shorts were originally stated to be solid cotton interlock, NOT bamboo. It was asked in VIP (by me) and answered by KQ Team. It was the only item in that fabric and color. I would like to receive what I ordered, definitely not bamboo bike shorts and definitely not any other print or color shorts.
